Character is the internal makeup of a person. It determines how a person thinks, feels, and acts in different situations. Mazyck Books wants to encourage children to become caring, respectful, and responsible individuals. We believe character education can influence children in positive ways, giving them skills that they need to be successful adults.

In 2005, Mrs. Mazyck's concern about character development of children prompted her to write a thesis on the subject called "Character Education: Why Should We Teach Children to Care?" Today, she writes faith-based books and books on different character traits to help children become productive adults in a world that is often confronted with ethical dilemmas.
